Expertise in English & Custom Bits

About Me

I was fortunate to grow up in a horse family, surrounded by horses and learning from some of the best professionals in the industry. As an adult amateur, I’ve developed a particular passion for understanding bits, their mechanics, and how they interact with a horse’s individual anatomy.

My interest in bit fitting became especially personal through my own OTTB, Dinero. I tried nearly 30 different bits before narrowing down the options to find what was truly comfortable for him and best suited to his anatomy, way of going, and individual needs. That process opened my eyes to just how much the right bit can influence a horse’s comfort, communication, and performance.

Today, my goal is to help other riders navigate the overwhelming world of bits and find a better match for their horses. Through personalized guidance and custom bit options, I take a thoughtful, horse-first approach to finding equipment that works with the horse—not against them.

Every horse is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all answer. My mission is to help you better understand your horse’s needs and find the bit that allows both horse and rider to communicate comfortably and confidently.
